Happy Tuesday kittens! Monday was the most Mondayest of all Mondays for me to be honest. Anyone else felt that way? It felt like Monday was never going to be over, LOL. Kidding, kinda.

By now, the malls are probably the craziest and most hectic, especially because of the most anticipated sale of the year – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The only time I wish I had a sugar daddy (no offense Horhey). It’s the most dangerous sale, but most exciting because a lot of the brands that are normally super expensive get dropped to a more reasonable price that cannot be passed up, I meannnn. Lucky for us there’s online shipping so we don’t have to wait in ridiculous lines. We can simply shop form the comfort of our home.
So without further ado, here are my top picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that are currently sitting in my shopping cart, because it is frowned upon to be in a store with no bra, sweatpants and a glass a wine.
I’ve partnered with World Market to share how I styled a boho shawl three ways.
With Spring around the corner, it’s time to think about transitioning your wardrobe. One of the best ways to prep for those unpredictable weather days is with a light shawl. Shawls are an easy way to create an effortless look.
For my first look, I wore my shawl over a basic tee and denim overalls. Topped the look off with a choker necklace, boho bags/totes and a low mule sandal.

Getting in the spirit of Spring/Summer in this beautiful floral maxi that I want to keep on forever. I love the cut, the fit, the color (fave color btw), E V E R Y T H I N G ! I really feel like a boho/gypsy princess with this pretty headpiece that totally completes this festival-inspired outfit. Don’t you agree?!
Ok, ok… I seriously need this trench coat in every single color because it goes with everything and I’ve been in the mood to wear this coat with practically everything everyday (not literally but I do wish I could wear it everyday). This is why I love basics, classics… staple pieces because you can style them however you’d like with almost anything you’d like. That’s the beauty of owning key pieces in your closet. Plus, it’s the best way to style so many different looks without breaking the bank. Basic items go a long way.
As much as I love Summer for the warm weather, I am pretty happy for the chili weather we’re experiencing here in LA. I’m only excited for one reason and one reason only: to be able to wear coats like this one here. It’s not often we ‘Los Angelenians’ (<– probably not even a word) get to wear heavy outerwear – so I jump at every chance we get under 60 degrees weather (that’s cold for me), to bring out my fun coats and jackets.
I was browsing online per usual, and came across a few items that instantly stopped me and are currently sitting in my shopping cart. I kinda need to have these for Spring, don’t you agree?…. decisions, decisions.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, basic pieces will always and have always been my go-to. They’re staples I can’t stay away from.
As you may recall on a very old but goodie post, I love reinventing new looks with what I already have hanging in my closet. Revamping my wardrobe makes me happy and makes my bank happy, too! To me – it’s all about finding different ways to style your basic items and get more use out of your wardrobe.
If you know me and/or follow me on instagram, you’d know that I’m not afraid to wear the same thing over and over again. I think it’s silly NOT to. That is why this denim dress by Happy Hour is so right up my alley. Not just because of the name (ok, maybe a little) but because it’s an easy-to-wear basic staple that can transition from season to season and take me from day to night. Just.Like.That. (finger snaps).
What are your go-to staples?
