By now, the malls are probably the craziest and most hectic, especially because of the most anticipated sale of the year – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The only time I wish I had a sugar daddy (no offense Horhey). It’s the most dangerous sale, but most exciting because a lot of the brands that are normally super expensive get dropped to a more reasonable price that cannot be passed up, I meannnn. Lucky for us there’s online shipping so we don’t have to wait in ridiculous lines. We can simply shop form the comfort of our home.
So without further ado, here are my top picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that are currently sitting in my shopping cart, because it is frowned upon to be in a store with no bra, sweatpants and a glass a wine.
This two piece wonder is giving me all kinds of feels right now. It’s one of my favorite two piece sets I own, which reminds me that with my birthday around the corner, this may be perfect for the festivities. Don’t you think?
Over the weekend, I celebrated my birthday with my close friends and family. I had an amazing time.
I wanted to get dolled up for my birthday even if I wasn’t planning to do anything extravagant. This sequin skirt was perfect, along with my DIY birthday crown from last year. I’m pretty obsessed over this Windsor skirt. It’s fun, festive and makes for a great Holiday outfit. Thinking this may just be an outfit option to ring in the New Year. What do you think?
I usually gravitate towards leopard or polkadots when it comes to prints but this floral bralette and skirt quickly reminded me why I should wear more floral prints. I love how the print almost looks as if they’re cherries rather than roses. What are some of your favorite prints to wear?

I like outfits that can take me from day to night, can be dressed up or down for any occasion and can be worn multiple times styled differently each time. That’s just what I did with this pencil skirt – I styled it two ways. Outfit #1 is very dressed up and sophisticated, while outfit #2 is very cool, tom-boy chic.
As I mentioned in last week’s mel made post, I split this dress in two and made it into a skirt instead. It’s definitely an oldie (was not a fan of the dress to be completely honest) but glad I was able to turn it into something I would wear.
I finally began to do some “spring cleaning” and found an old blue dress I forgot I even had. It was a simple dress – nothing fancy. I wasn’t a fan of the top portion so instead of tossing it I split it in two and turned it into a skirt. Voila!
