Whether you’re in dire need of new ankle boots to replace your worn soles or simply need a style update, shopping online is one of the most convenient ways to get a new pair or two. Making shoe purchases online can also save you a lot of money because of all the discounts and special offers you can get. Here are five of the best ways to find the best deals on ankle boots online:
Check out coupon sites.
If you want to slash up to 75% off the cost of your purchase, there’s no better way to do it than using coupon codes for ankle boots. Coupon sites offer products and services from top brands at discounted prices and you can even score special offers such as free delivery or a free pair of shoes. Voucher codes are great for those who want to stay in style and have trendy ankle boots but don’t have the budget to buy them at full price. You can get voucher codes for Public Desire by visiting Total Discounts and then you just need to apply the code when you check out. Remember though, it’s important to act quickly, as coupon codes have an expiration date and you have to make your purchase while they’re still valid.
Visit retailer or manufacturer sites.
Shoe brands usually have post-season or clearance sales on their products, so it would be a good idea to bookmark their websites and watch out for sales. It may involve a lot of waiting, but your efforts will surely pay off when you get your coveted ankle boots on sale. As with coupon codes, when buying at clearance sales you’ll have to move fast to make sure the pair you want in your size is still in stock. Many brands also provide discounts for students at uni, an incentive you don’t want to let go of. To get notified about clearance sales and exclusive deals, join the brand’s online community, subscribe to the newsletter or follow them on social media so you can receive promo announcements right away.
Browse around online marketplaces.
Online marketplaces such as like eBay offer items that are new or have never been used, pre-loved or slightly used. Sellers on these sites let potential buyers haggle or pay the listed price upfront. If you don’t mind wearing slightly used shoes, these online marketplaces are great places to find a good, affordable pair. If you’re hunting for ankle boots that aren’t sold in shops anymore, someone on eBay probably has them up for sale. It may require a bit of hard work, but you’ll surely score a great deal.
Consider clothing and shoe swaps.
Swapping clothes and shoes with other trendy folks is another way to find ankle boots online. There are websites that provide a platform for people who would rather swap clothes and shoes than sell. If you have items you no longer wear or use such as knee-high boots or a coat in the wrong colour, someone online may want them in exchange for ankle boots and a matching jacket. Swapping online is usually free or may involve a small fee for shipping but it’s definitely a sure-fire way of finding ankle boots at a low price or at no cost at all.
Currently swooning over: Top Knots and Fringe Things. If you’re following on the ‘gram or on snapchat, you know my entire life has revolved around top knot hair do’s and this fringe bag. Anyone else currently obsessing a specific item or thing? Let me know.
I have been wanting a pair of the Leather Dizzy Parrot sandals by Elina Linardaki for quite some time now, so I decided to make my very own pair. It has been forever since I’ve last done a ‘Mel Made‘, and with my blog’s 6th anniversary just around the corner, I thought it would be perfect!
Making my very own Elina Linardaki Sandals made me realize how much I love making things. When I first started my blog, it was mainly focused on DIYs, and making these sandals truly reminded me how much I missed it.
I plan to do more fun DIYs, so be sure to follow along to see what I make next.
Is it too soon to have wedding withdrawals though?… Our wedding was everything and more. I loved every bit of it, and i’ll be sharing some photos soon so stay tuned. 🙂
Also, I’m already missing Puerto Vallarta, but it does feel good to be back.
We had such an amazing time, and we did so much while we were out there visiting. I cannot wait to share ore ut in case you missed our trip (honeymoon), go check out my photos on instagram @melrodstyle.
How amazing is this dress?! I love the color and the mesh details along the neck and sleeves. It’s the perfect Holiday dress. And let’s not forget about the shoes! Most important part of the outfit, am I right or am I right?! Glitter boots?! Sign me up.
I stumbled upon a pair of faux fur heels on instagram, and fell head over heels for them… literally. I just needed to have them, so a couple of weeks ago Enocha and I had a fun little DIY sesh and filmed a how-to video.
We made our very own faux fur heels, and I’m really happy how they turned out. I decided to add the chain last minute. I felt like they were missing something. Although it was a hairy and messy DIY, it was tons of fun – fur sure! 😉
What do you guys think?
I promise I’ll be sharing more of DIY’s soon, so stay tuned.
Dear Rory Beca, this dress makes me feel some type of way… thank you.
I am obsessing over this dress right now. I love the fit, the tiger print, and most importantly the style of the dress. It’s such a subtle print that you can get away with wearing it more often than most prints. It’s one of those dresses that will be with you for a long time.
I cannot believe it’s November! Where did the time go?! I had so much fun dressing up for Halloween but really happy it’s over. As much as I love Halloween, I’m relieved (my skin actually), that it’s over and we can move on to November.
With cooler temps in the air, I was finally able to layer and style my new boots, I am obsessed with! The color, the style, everything!!!Ahhh!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
Also, I’m hitting the road for the next few days. Follow me on snapchat (MELROD1206) and Instagram (@melrodstyle) to see where I’m headed.
Sorry I’ve been kinda MIA on snapchat. Promise I’ll be on my A-game soon. In the meantime, can we discuss about these snakeskin boots I got from Aldo?! Two words: life changing. Ok, I bit dramatic but that’s how I roll.
What do you guys think? Let me know.
Have a great weekend and safe Halloween! Follow me on snapchat – I’ll be dressing up again… this time something completely different from my cat costume last weekend.
