Last week, I co-hosted the Coach Spring 2016 viewing party in their Rodeo Drive store. It was so much fun being able to see the runway live from New York Fashion Week here in LA. The collection is everything and I WANT everything.
Here’s what I wore to the viewing party. Head to toe Coach, obviously. 😉
In case you missed it, you can watch the entire runway show, here.
I’m a firm believer that leather goes with everything and it’s such a classic piece that you can wear all year round. For instance, this jacket. I’ve had this leather jacket for about a year now. I wear it very often and it has been good to me. If it’s one jacket I need in my life, it would be a leather jacket. It goes with t-shirt and jeans to layering it over a dress – like this checkered printed dress I’m wearing here.
Nicole Miller can do no wrong. From the prints to the detailing, Nicole Miller nails it each season. Today’s look takes us back to New York City during fashion week strolling around Bryant Park in my Nicole Miller crop and midi skirt. And of course, comfy oxfords because by day 4, my feet couldn’t hold up any longer in heels.
P.S. Noticed anything different? Tried a new hair trend. What do you think?
Happy mid-week everyone and happy 1st of the month!
On my off day, I decided to wear something more loose fitting and drapey to run free in the city, especially with all the walking and what not. Originally the plan was to wear this dress as, well a dress but instead went for my all time favorite Fall trend – layering. And since I couldn’t decide whether to wear this dress alone or go for the jeans, I wore them together.
I may be missing the beautiful city but one thing you bet your butt I’m not missing is the weather. It’s extremely hot in LA… don’t get me wrong but I would prefer this heat than the humidity any given day.
I tried to beat the heat while staying on trend in this Topshop floral crop and midi skirt. Speaking of trends – is it just me or is the “baby bump” the hottest most talked about trend?!
I still cannot believe that I was gone for a week. Still a bit jet lag but nonetheless happy to have been able to attend NYFW once again. The first day was perhaps my busiest. Opening the first day of fashion week with Nicholas K, which was all about layerings and neutral colors. Followed by the Jay Godfrey presentation, then Tadashi Shoji – the collection blew me away. Ending the day with the always so vibrant and extravagant Desigual. I decided to wear this simple black and white shift dress from Desigual and paired it with these edgy strappy heels.
Stay tuned for the rest of my outfits from fashion week.
Hi lovelies!! Hope everyone has been enjoying their week! I’m back I’m back!! And it feels so good to be home! NYC I love you and all but I’m happy to be back in LA.
Although I am exhausted, I wanted to make sure I was able to share my first outfit of the day in NYC. I went for an easy LBD shift dress and paired with these strappy gold hardware heels for a night out with my girls.
“Every year the women of New York leave the past behind and look forward to the future… this is known as Fashion Week.”
I can’t believe next week I will be in New York attending NYFW for the second time. I’m so pumped and ready, with the exception of one little issue – “what to wear!” This is a big deal because everyone wants to look their best and wear the most glamorous outfits – obvi!
Sigh… I’m experiencing a “what to wear” crisis at the moment, you guys.
With that in mind, here’s a new jumpsuit that I’m just obsessed with. It’s super comfy and love the wide leg. It’s an easy jumpsuit that I can dress up or dress down. I may just have to take this little number with me to NYFW.
1 outfit down – 10 more to go (home alone ahhh moment).
