The Best Face Oils For Every Skin Type
If you told me 5 years ago that using oils on your skin had so many benefits, I would’ve probably rolled my eyes, laughed even. We were told that adding oils to your skin would cause breakouts or clog pores, and so on and so forth, but that’s not actually true. The right oil can help improve your skin – it’s just knowing which one is right for you. It can be extremely overwhelming selecting which oils are a perfect match for your skin, since there are so many different kinds. That’s why I’m breaking it down for you and sharing a few favorite facial oils for every skin type.
GRAPESEED OIL: No one really talks about this oil (at least I don’t really hear about it), and it has so many great benefits. Grapeseed oil can help reduce the appearance of aging, wrinkles, acne and scars. It can also help balance your skin, and restore collagen.
SQUALANE OIL: This oil is suitable for all skin types: dry skin, aging or acne. It’s a great oil to use if you have eczema. Squalane oil helps reduce pigmentation in the skin, and also has some UV protection.
JOJOBA OIL: One of my favorites. It’s an overall great oil to include in your skin regimen. It is super hydrating, and is a great moisturizer to use. Jojoba oil helps prevent anti-aging, acne, soothes sunburns and dry skin. It also reduces redness, and helps with eczema and rosacea. Jojoba oil is a great oil to use for oily skin believe it or not. It will help regulate your skin oils.
LAVENDAR OIL: Helps reduce dark spots and redness. Also helps slow down signs of aging. Lavender oil is great to heal minor burns, cuts, scrapes and wounds. This oil is great for oily or dry skin.
ROSEHIP OIL: Rosehip oil helps brighten and tighten your skin, along with evening out your skin tone. It’s also great to help fade scars. Rosehip oil is great to apply during winter.
ARGAN OIL: Another great oil for all skin types. Argan oil helps heal skin problems, like eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and rosacea – all commonly associated with dry or sensitive skin. It also treats acne, decrease the appearance of aging skin as well as improving the elasticity of your skin. This oil is also great to use during dry weather.
MARULA OIL: This oil is very similar to argan, jojoba and grapeseed oil. It helps fight acne and treat blemishes and scars. Marula oil helps protect from sun exposure. It also rejuvenates and reduces fine lines and wrinkles, along with helping promote collagen, and boost skin firmness. Great to use during winter.
These are just a few of the many benefits. From skin to hair – the list can go on and on, but to avoid this post from being too overwhelming, I decided to keep it short and sweet for you guys. I hope this list of facial oils helps you find the right one for your skin type.
