Wedding Makeup Trial with my Nieces

With my wedding just months away, I decided it would be fun to do a video with my nieces. I decided to do a “wedding makeup trial” video.

It was so much fun but definitely leaving the experts to doing my hair and makeup for the big day. 😉

Hope you enjoy my video, and be sure to subscribe and give it a thumbs up.

Nothing is more important to me than taking good care of my skin, and I know I don’t stand alone when I say this. Flawless skin is everything.

I’ve only been using Enza Essentials skin care for a few days now, and I already noticed a difference in my skin. I know it sounds too good to be true, but it’s the truth.

I noticed my skin felt tighter, firmer, and softer. I have been having issues with blemishes/acne around my jawline and neck, and I’ve seen improvement on my skin already.

As most girls, I’ve tried many different products… some that were ok, while others not so much.

What I love most about Enza is that they don’t treat your skin the same as every other person. They don’t put your skin in a category. Enzo strives on the fact that skin care isn’t a “one size fits all”. Everyone needs different products tailored to their specific skin type. What I may need for my skin may not necessarily work for someone else, and vice-versa. Enzo can create a customized care suite for your skin.

Here’s how it works:

  • Enza has a customized skin care questionnaire on their website www.enza.com that customers can fill out.
  • Enzo aestheticians study the answers and send back a complete morning and evening skin care regimen for you with the products.
  • If you purchase their recommended skin care suite, you receive 30% off, which I think is amazing!

I remember coming across Luminess Air on those late night infomercials they show on television and wanting to try it. I was a bit hesitant at first because, I’m not going to lie – I was intimidated. Plus, it just seemed too good to be true. Giving you coverage and flawless skin all at the same time! Sounds too amazing, right?!

Well I decided to just give it a go, and was fortunate enough to collaborate with Luminess Air to try it out myself.

I tried it for the first time a few days ago and it really does give you a beautiful coverage, all while giving you a natural look. You guys! Seriously need to try it. It stays on all day, which is very important for me because I’m always on the go and have nearly any time for retouching.

Here’s what came in my package:

  • The Luminess Air Stylus – Not as intimidating as it looks – trust me!
  • Moist-Primer (M1)
  • Brightening-Glow (G1)
  • Blush-Series (Soft Rose – 2n)
  • Two Foundations in shades 3 and 4 (I’ve been using shade 3)
  • Airbrush Cleaning Bottle – Easy to clean stylus.

Because I really think you all should try it, I included a sweet little discount below.

Visit Luminess Air and enjoy 20% using this code: 734438351

Let me know what you think and if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below or email me. I’d love to hear what you think about Luminess Air.

I thought I’d start the first day of a new month with a new beauty blog post.  I’m sharing the exact brushes I use to apply my makeup with.

I’ve been using Sigma Beauty brushes for years now, and when new brushes were delivered to my doorstep, I was beyond excited. I especially couldn’t wait to use the highlighter and contouring brushes.

Here are the steps-by-step on how I apply my foundation and powder:

  • The very first step before applying my foundation, I use a sunscreen moisturizer and an eye cream. I let it sit for a few second.
  • I then apply my foundation with the 3DHD Kabuki brush, which is AMAZING. This brush is a multifunctional brush allowing you to get all the curves, creases and angles on your face.
  • I then apply my powder with the Duo Fibre Powder/Blush brush. I love this brush because it allows me to be able to apply my powder as lightly as I’d like to.
  • Next step, is the contouring. I use the Large Angled Contour – F40 brush on my cheekbones, along the side of my eyebrows, outer edges of my forehead and jaw line. I also use the Tapered Face – F25 brush to blend in the product.
  • Followed by the Small Contour – F05 brush to contour around my nose and any smaller areas.
  • Then comes the highlighting part. I use the Tapered Highlighter – F35 brush to highlight desired areas on my face. I normally like to brighten up my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, cupid’s bow, inner corners of my eyes, as well as my chin and in between my brows.
  • The very last step is the setting powder, which I usually use the Duo Fibre Powder/Blush brush.

All product are linked above. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @melrodstyle, as I’ll be sharing more beauty posts soon.
