Any chance I get to have my fiancé make a special appearance on the blog, I take! I love having him on, especially since he’s always behind the lens. Even if it’s just showing our matching his and hers watches. 😉
The beau and I have quite a watch collection, so when Wood Watches by Jord reached out, I instantly wanted to work with them. It’s one of my favorite accessories to wear. My go-to accessories tend to always be either a classic watch or dainty jewelry (you can find great pieces here at http://www.freshtrends.com by the way). Whenever I want to make a bold statement, a classic watch is what I like to wear. Or if I want something soft and simple, dainty pieces are what I end up pulling from my jewelry armoire
What are your go-to accessories? And how do you like to style them? Share!
Believe it or not, I whipped up this DIY embellished collar this morning. It was super easy, and if you’re like me and don’t have a clue of what you’re wearing for New Year’s Eve, then this might be an option.
Here’s how I made it:
I cut this collar off an old blouse with fabric scissors.
Rhinestones from Michaels (or any craft store).
Pretty easy, huh?!
Hope you liked this DIY. For more DIYs (mel made) check them all out here. The party crown DIY is one of my favorites. Great party hat for birthdays or to ring in the new Year. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post as I reflect on 2014.
Today is a special post because I have collaborated with Adornia to bring you this amazing giveaway! That’s right! I’m hosting a giveaway in which you have a chance to win either this Adornia silver Eden snake ring or these beautiful silver fringe Farrah earrings.

In today’s look I’m playing with this fun flirty plaid skirt I recently purchased. I love how it can easily transition from day to night. Stay tuned to see how I style this plaid skirt again in a more relaxed casual look!
Mixing print and stripes has been one of the hottest trends this Fall. So I decided to take this look to a whole ‘nother level by not only incorporating this trend but by layering a skirt over this playsuit (yes, that’s a romper underneath that skirt), and keeping the colors subtle with black and white.
