Not sure what to get the mister for Christmas this year? Didn’t realize Christmas was around the corner and need a last minute gift? Don’t worry. I gotchu boo. Get your special someone something special (obvi) but that’s also affordable.
I’ve created a holiday gift guide for him that’s under $100. I hope this is helpful for anyone that is not done shopping for their boo’s.
The time has come. Holidays are here, and the real important question is what do I wear for…?
Whether you’re attending a fancy holiday party/event, or going to a company party, Christmas dinner, or anything holiday related, I’ve got you covered boo. I decided to put together a few holiday items that are all under $100 – duh. Because why would you spend more than that?
Scratch that. I’ll speak for myself. I don’t like spending a lot on clothing or accessories because I don’t think you have to in order to look ah–mazing!
It’s that time of the year again, and I know I have been talking about getting back into doing more DIYs.
The time has finally come! I decided to do another DIY Christmas ornament simply because the first ornaments I made were a hit. To this very day my last DIY (from 2010) Christmas Ornament (click here for post) has gotten so much love.
Any who, let’s get started.
I decided to make faux feather pom pom christmas ornaments.
I used the glue gun and dabbed a small amount onto the ornament, and began gluing the boa around. I decided to use smaller ornaments (last minute decision) because they looked much better on a smaller ornament than on the bigger ones.
It was such an easy and fun DIY. Hope you all enjoy it!
How amazing is this dress?! I love the color and the mesh details along the neck and sleeves. It’s the perfect Holiday dress. And let’s not forget about the shoes! Most important part of the outfit, am I right or am I right?! Glitter boots?! Sign me up.
Happy new year everyone! It’s such an exciting time of year because I feel like this is the time when everyone is so motivated to do something new, something different or make some changes. At least, that’s how I feel. 2015 is going to be another great year and my plans are to be a better me. Like every year, I plan to try new things – whether it’s traveling to a new place, eating something I’ve never eaten before, do more outdoor activities, change my perspective on certain things, make change in myself, even try new trends. I tend to wear a lot of denim (I can’t help it, it’s my go-to), so I’m going to try to wear more skirts and dresses… starting with this velvety-fringe lacey dress I cannot get enough of. Three trends in one dress and it works so perfectly!
Believe it or not, I whipped up this DIY embellished collar this morning. It was super easy, and if you’re like me and don’t have a clue of what you’re wearing for New Year’s Eve, then this might be an option.
Here’s how I made it:
I cut this collar off an old blouse with fabric scissors.
Rhinestones from Michaels (or any craft store).
Pretty easy, huh?!
Hope you liked this DIY. For more DIYs (mel made) check them all out here. The party crown DIY is one of my favorites. Great party hat for birthdays or to ring in the new Year. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post as I reflect on 2014.
You may remember this sparkly crown from last year’s birthday. Well, If you’re in need of some inspiration for the Holidays or even New Year’s Eve, this party crown is just perfect. It’s super easy to make, oh and did I mention it only cost me $1.29?! I know, right?!!
I love boyfriend blazers as much as I do boyfriend jeans and tees. I just love to oversize things up… all.the.time. This boyfriend blazer from Windsor is so cozy, I don’t want to take it off. I wish I had it in multiple colors because it’s THAT good!
Over the weekend, I celebrated my birthday with my close friends and family. I had an amazing time.
I wanted to get dolled up for my birthday even if I wasn’t planning to do anything extravagant. This sequin skirt was perfect, along with my DIY birthday crown from last year. I’m pretty obsessed over this Windsor skirt. It’s fun, festive and makes for a great Holiday outfit. Thinking this may just be an outfit option to ring in the New Year. What do you think?
