If you follow me on snapchat (melrod1206) or instagram (@melrodstyle), you may have seen me at the most amazing dinner. I attended the Le Diner En Blanc last Thursday and it was magical. It was the chicest pop-up picnic where every guest (2,600 people to be exact) had to dress head-to-toe in white.
Le Diner en Blanc started back in 1988 by Francois Pasquier who invited a few friends to the Bois de Boulogne one day in June. To find each other in the park, they all wore white. The dinner was such a success they decided that the following year, each person would invite some other friends and the even grew organically.
From dinner to dancing, this experience is one I’ll remember forever. A special thank you to Revelance PR for the wonderful memories. Both Enocha and I had an amazing time and cannot wait to attend again.
This past Saturday I experienced my very first Coachella – also known as the most anticipated festival ever. It was really exciting, especially since I went with a few girlfriends. Any excuse for a little girls get away – even for just a day.
Here’s a short recap of my first Coachella…
First stop: the Ace Hotel for the #mbmjsunnies event.
A little DIY action at the Two Point Oh La Blogger Lounge.
Couldn’t resist a photo in front of this beautiful mural.
Second stop: the Parker Palm Hotel for the Harpers Bazaar Pop Up Shop event. Oh and these colorful vases I need!
I’ve never met a hammock I didn’t like.
Third stop: the Old Navy Oasis where we got to listen to the ever-so-dreamy band Young The Giant perform one of my favorite songs “Cough Syrup“.
Fourth stop: the Forever 21 #cranechella where we danced the night away with some bubbly. Perfect way to end the night.
Stay tuned as I will be sharing my Coachella outfits soon and be sure to stay connected with me on instagram @melrodstyle!
If you already follow me on instagram @melrodstyle, you know that I attended my 3rd Lucky Fabb. There was so much going on this year.
We learned a few things from Sophia Amoruso of Nasty Gal and her book launch #GirlBoss.
Coco Rocha is such a genuine human being. I learned that she doesn’t like the word “trends” and isn’t a fan of selfies.
Cannot wait to try the fragrance beautifying cream by L’Occitane.
I need to have this Loeffler Randall handbag.
What I wore the first day of Lucky Fabb. Details to come soon.
I’m the biggest fan of Nicole Richie so I was beyond ecstatic to see this lovely lady speak at Lucky Fabb. One of my first blog posts I ever published was of Nicole Richie and I was very fortunate to be able to listen to her speak on the panel at Lucky Fabb about her success with House Of Harlow, her love affair with gardening and obsession with sleeping. Lover her!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Can’t wait to share what I wore during Lucky Fabb. Stay tuned!
