As a little girl, I imagined what my wedding would be like, but growing up I really didn’t think much about it as most girls do. Don’t get me wrong I, too have a secret Pinterest board dedicated to what my future wedding would be like. I guess I just never thought it would happen for me until we got engaged. I think after that, it all sort of became real and hit me that this was it. It was time to officially begin the planning process of my dream wedding (somebody pinch me).
So this is it you guys. I’m a bride-to-be, officially planning my wedding… eek!! With that said, I decided to round up just a few essentials that recently came to mind I thought were perfect and definitely a must have for the big day.
Since it’s not practical to get ready in your gown, these beautiful kimono robes are just what my bridesmaids and I need during hair and makeup. Under the Canopy Kimono Bathrobes are simple, yet ultra elegant and so right up my alley. I love that they are light weight and that they tie around the waist, which is essential and very important.
If it’s one thing I want more than anything on my wedding day is to be comfortable, and by that I mean my feet. Packing a pair of flats is essential, however; I want to look cute all day and all night, and there is no reason why I should need to switch out from my beautiful heels to an ordinary pair of flats. This is why I am so happy Sole Serum came into my life. As cheesy as that may sound, I’m completely serious. This is a miracle in a bottle, literally! I don’t know why this wasn’t invented sooner but i’m glad Sole Serum is in my life. Sole Serum is a serum designed to target and heal foot pain. This magic in a bottle serum will take you from day to night and that is music to my ears… err feet! Happy feet for my bridesmaids and I are in order!!!
This metallic box clutch is a must have. It will carry all the things I need and will allow me to be hands-free as well.
As opposed to a jacket, I love the idea of a wrap for my bridesmaids. This cashmere wrap is light weight and an easy alternative to throw on over, especially for an outdoor reception.
An iPhone case?! I know it may sound silly but we carry our phones with us everywhere we go, and since everyone will be snapping photos during the ceremony and reception, I think it’s a good idea to have a fun case like this Kate Spade Flamingo case to be able to distinguish your phone from the rest. After all, you don’t want to end the day on a sad note by losing your phone.
I hope these 5 essentials were helpful and if you have any suggestions or advise for a new bride-to-be, please leave a comment below. Would love to hear them!
