I’m so behind on blogging… editing my honeymoon video, which seems like it was 100 years ago… and life in general. I completely neglected my blog last week, and I apologize. I really just needed to take a break and re-evaluate my priorities, which is my health. Life sometimes just happens. But not to worry… I’m working on new content and will have new #ootds coming your way, plus I just got back from Miami so will have a post about my trip up soon. Although I cannot post daily, I will still have at least 1-2 posts a week. I’ll be on snapchat (melrod1206) and Instagram (@melrodstyle) daily so be sure to follow me there.
The last two weeks have been pretty overwhelming and stressful with so much going on in my life. So much that my body physically shut down. That was basically my body telling me to calm down and take a time out. It was a wake up call that I need to stop worrying about little things that do not matter.
A couple of things I need to always keep in mind to avoid having anxiety is…. No matter what you do in life, no one will ever have your best interest but YOU. Sometimes (most times) it’s not worth dwelling over insignificant things. You can do anything but not everything. And that’s ok. You’re human.
To my family, friends and my readers, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for being so amazing and understanding. You inspire me to continue doing what I love to do and that is to inspire others through my blog and instagram. Love you all more than you know.
